महामंडळाची स्थापना (Establishment of the Corporation)

वसंतराव नाईक विमुक्त जाती व भटक्या जमाती विकास महामंडळ, मर्यादित मुंबई या महामंडळाची दिनांक 8 फेब्रुवारी, 1984 रोजी कंपनी कायदा, 1956 नुसार स्थापना करण्यात आली आहे.

The Vasantrao Naik Vimukta Jati Va Bhatakya Jamati Vikas Mahamandal, Limited Mumbai was established on February 8, 1984, under the Companies Act, 1956. The corporation was initially under the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department.

Current Status

With Government Notification dated March 10, 2019, a separate department was created from the Social Justice Department for Other Backward Classes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Denotified Tribes, Nomadic Tribes, and Special Backward Classes Welfare. As per Government Resolution No. IMAV 2016/PR.NO.95/Establishment, dated July 24, 2019, it was renamed as the Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department.

सदर महामंडळामार्फत विमुक्त जाती, भटक्या जमाती व विशेष मागासवर्ग प्रवर्गाच्या आर्थिक दृष्ट्या दुर्बल घटकातील व्यक्तींना सामाजिक, आर्थिक व शैक्षणिक उन्नतीकरिता विविध योजनांची अंमलबजावणी करण्यात येते.

Through this corporation, various schemes are implemented for the social, economic, and educational advancement of economically weaker sections among Denotified Tribes, Nomadic Tribes, and Special Backward Classes.
